Canada Global (Web News) Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stated on Tuesday that the parliament should take action in an effort to hold individuals responsible for giving Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), facilities.

Ms. Nawaz added, “It is not enough from the federal cabinet to reject the verdict handed by a three-member bench” when she expressed her concerns about the Supreme Court’s ruling. She referred to 2018, saying, “The accountability that was assumed by Khosa and Saqib Nisar back in 2018 has now been adopted by the current bench.”

The Punjab administration was turned over to Imran Khan after the constitution was changed, she continued, and “today’s verdict is the ultimate attack of the conspiracy.”

She continued by stating that the PML-N leadership had previously dealt with disqualification and that, if it occurred, the leadership will do so once more.

While discussing the disqualification of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, Ms. Nawaz stated, “The PML-N supremo’s disqualification over the ruling that came on iqama was even intact today.”

The Supreme Court of Pakistan’s (SCP) decision ordering the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold polls in Punjab on May 14 was rejected earlier today by the federal cabinet.

After hearing arguments from the parties involved, the three-member bench of the Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and including Justices Munib Akhtar and Ijazul Ahsan, rendered the unanimous judgement reserved on Monday. Canada Global (Web News) Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated on Monday that while he wished both he and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah would survived, he would like to state that Mr. Sana would not.

In response to Mr. Sana’s assertion that Mr. Khan or his political opponents would survive and that Mr. Khan had pushed the nation to a point of no return, he made the aforementioned comment.

Addressing to reporters in front of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), he declared that if Mr. Sana had predicted that he, Mr. Khan, would not live, he would like to assert that Mr. Sana would not continue. He continued, “Their [the PML- N’s] government will be gone if they lose the backing.”

Imran Khan urges masses to attend Minar-e-Pakistan power show despite hurdles

Canada Global (Web News) To prevent tonight’s public gathering of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at Minar-e-Pakistan, the relevant authorities have closed a number of routes, including entry and departure points, in the capital of Punjab (Saturday).

Elections in Punjab have been postponed owing to financial and security concerns, but the political show goes on nonetheless because the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has given its permission to postpone elections.

Parking trucks with shipping containers have blocked all access roads to the Minar-e-Pakistan, and the two main entry and exit points, the Ravi Bridge and Thokar Niaz Baig, have been made impassible to vehicles. For commuters who left earlier in the day for their jobs and places of employment, the steps to stop the political gathering created obstacles.

Containers have been positioned at several locations, including the railway station, Bansawala Bazaar, and Shah Alam Market.

Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI and a former prime minister, is upbeat about his successful power show despite the traffic limitations. He predicted on Twitter that the PTI’s sixth gathering, which would take place tonight at Minar-i-Pakistan, “will break all records.”

Canada Global (Web News) A district and sessions court changed Imran Khan’s arrest warrant from being non-bailable to being bailable on Friday in relation to allegations that he threatened a female magistrate while speaking to a crowd of people last year.

Further Sessions The judgement was delivered by Judge Faizan Haider Gilani after being reserved earlier in the day. Judge rejected the PTI’s petition for an extension and suspension of the arrest warrant.

Before the judge reserved his or her decision, the special prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi and the former prime minister’s attorney Gohar Ali had presented their cases.

Mr. Ali requested an extension and suspension of the arrest warrants until his client’s appearance in the Toshakhana case before a court in Islamabad on March 30. The PTI attorney declared he will submit a request to modify the dates of the arrest warrants. The date for arrest warrants is March 29, therefore it’s odd that you’re asking for March 30, the court observed.

Arguments should be made on a petition asking for the arrest warrants to be suspended, the prosecutor said. The prosecutor said that Mr. Khan never showed up for the hearing on the threat case when the judge questioned whether he had ever appeared in court. He said that the PTI chairman’s power of attorney had not even been presented on his behalf.

The judge reserved his decision following the hearing and is expected to make it public soon.

PTI to approach Supreme Court against ECP for postponing election in Punjab

Canada Global (Web News) Leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declared on Thursday that the party would appeal the Punjab election’s postponement decision to the Supreme Court (SC).

The decision was made after the SC ordered the electoral watchdog to hold polls in Punjab and KP within 90 days following the dissolution of provincial assemblies. The election was originally set for April 30 but was postponed by the ECP until October 8. Punjab and KP assemblies were dissolved on Jan 14 and Jan 18 respectively.

Asad Umar, the leader of the PTI, mockingly claimed that it was merely coincidental that the ECP announced the postponement hours after Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had stated his desire to hold elections immediately in the nation during a joint parliamentary session on Wednesday. He continued, “The decision is unlawful, and we will challenge it.

He added that the PTI had already filed a contempt petition against KP governor Haji Ghulam Ali and that the party’s attorney, Ali Zafar, had been working on the petition. “The PTI will host a large gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan where it would also express solidarity with the SC for preserving the constitution”, he added.

He continued saying that the party had scaled up preparation for the rally adding that the PTI senators will present their viewpoint completely at a joint session of the senate slated to be convened on Monday. “The party will also seek in the petition that the polls in Punjab be held on April 30,” he continued.

Fawad Chaudhry claimed that Pakistan Day was a violation of the constitution and mentioned that 96 bar organisations had protested the ECP’s decision. The PML-N has a history of criticising the judiciary, he said, and the SC was assaulted during the joint parliamentary session on Wednesday.

He pointed out that former chief minister of Punjab Hamza Shehbaz received bail on Sunday without showing up in court and added that law minister Azam Nazir Tarar was a lawyer of the devil. He continued, “Before, Mr. Tarar was a man [of good character].

After the Taraweeh prayers on Saturday night, he stated that the PTI rally will begin and last until sehri on Sunday. He continued, “We applaud the government’s choice to establish a JIT and we anticipate that JIT will operate independently.

Stating that elections in Punjab were expected to take place on April 30 and that both the populace and the SC needed to protect the constitution. The SC must defend the constitution above all things, he continued, and I am aware that judges are being threatened and blackmailed, he added.

The request for information on the cases brought against Mr. Khan was heard by Judge Tariq Saleem. The report and the affidavit were provided by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff was asked by Mr. Khan’s attorney, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry, if the affidavit had been included with the report. Judge Sheikh stated that it was the court’s responsibility, not Mr. Chaudhry’s, to raise this issue.

The plaintiff claimed he had submitted the list, and Mr. Chaudhry countered that although they had anticipated filing 100 claims against Mr. Khan, the list revealed that there were actually more than 100. Azhar Siddique, Mr. Khan’s solicitor, claimed there were 43 complaints in Islamabad and 84 in Punjab against the former prime minister, up from 56 and 33, respectively, the day before.

In a matter of hours, Mr. Chaudhry claimed, lawsuits were being filed against Mr. Khan.

The court denied the NAB lawyer’s request for more time to write his response to the case while asking him to produce the report as soon as possible.

The NAB counsel claimed that he should be given a copy of the petition so he can submit the reply after the court noted that he was only supposed to present the list of cases filed against Mr. Khan.

Mr. Siddique stated that he had written to the NAB on February 17 requesting the list of cases, and that it was his right to be aware of the total number of cases brought against Mr. Khan.
