IHC grants interim bail to Imran Khan in seven cases

Canada Global (Web News) Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was granted temporary bail on Monday by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in seven instances, preventing the police from arresting him.

After the PTI leader arrived from Lahore to request pre-arrest bail in the cases filed against him in the federal capital, the IHC bench, which is made up of Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Judge Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, heard the matter.

Imran Khan testified in court that his life was under danger and that the nation was experiencing a situation that had never before occurred.

Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former prime minister, came at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) earlier in the day to request precautionary bail in seven terrorism cases, including vandalism at the courthouse.
