Canada Global (Web News) Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared on Wednesday that if his party wins another election, he will advance a reform agenda.
The deposed premier was visited by a group of former session judges, and Mr. Khan expressed optimism that a large-majority administration would soon be formed.
Regarding the judiciary, Mr. Khan added “Many judges were previously appointed as ROs. There were numerous judges whose responsibility it was to handle anti-corruption cases.”
“We need to look about how we can provide protection to the regular population,” he said, emphasising the need of doing so.
Mr. Khan stated that his party will uphold the rule of law as supreme in an effort to advance society, which is now necessary.
When discussing the talks, Mr. Khan said: “In relation to the negotiations, the PTI is not hesitating. The one-point agenda of the discussions, however, will be the announcement of the elections.”
