Canada Global (Web News) Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, stated that the security institutions must protect the safety of both domestic residents and visitors.
The session that covered anti-terrorism and the security of foreign nationals residing in Pakistan was presided over by the interior minister.
Participating at the meeting were the secretary of the interior, the chief secretary of Punjab, the home secretary of Punjab, the director general of the IB, and senior CTD personnel.
The minister was informed of the measures taken to ensure the security of the visitors as well as the anti-terrorism plan.
He urged the authorities to put in place impenetrable security measures and ensure the protection of foreign nationals, noting that the government’s first priority was to end the scourge of terrorism.
