Courts open to save Imran Khan, laments Sharjeel Memon

Canada Global (Web News) In response to the Supreme Court’s (SC) decision on the Punjab Assembly election, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon stated his concerns on Tuesday, stating that the courts were always there to protect Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

Speaking at a commemoration of the former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s 44th death anniversary, Mr. Memon bemoaned the SC’s decision, stating, “There is a time to open the courts to pamper Imran Khan.

“The person who spoke for the farmers and workers and made the country an atomic power was subjected to judicial murder,” Mr. Memon remarked in reference to Mr. Bhutto.
