Babar Azam steals headlines again

Canada Global (Web News) The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Tuesday that Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has been nominated for the ICC player of the month award.

After his outstanding performance in the five-match home ODI series against New Zealand, Mr. Azam was nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award. With victories in the first two games in April and the final two games in May, Pakistan won with a convincing 4-1 score.

The Pakistani athletes have now joined the vast list of elite athletes who have previously undertaken the programme. Kaka, Edwin van der Sar, Gerard Pique, and Oliver Kahn were on the list, along with NBA players Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Paul, and Paul Gasol. The event was planned to take place from May 31 to June 3.
