Alberta town of Vermilion takes action on its own to obtain high-speed internet.

Canada Global (Web News) Since dial-up was the norm, the internet has advanced significantly, but many rural towns in Alberta don’t feel that way.

The eastern Alberta town of Vermilion is home to Rock Solid Nitrogen. Almost all business operations including staff training, equipment updates, truck tracking, and, of course, administrative tasks—rely on the internet.

An unstable internet connection is the issue.
President Randy Martin stated that “where we are located, we lose our internet capabilities probably on average four to five times a month.”
