PTI can return to National Assembly for interim govt’s sake, says Imran Khan

Canada Global (Web News) Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated on Monday that the PTI could choose to return to the National Assembly (NA) for an interim administration.

He told reporters that the party has finished its deliberations on the subject. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has members in the NA, and we are in communication with some of them, he continued. However, we would only award them PTI membership after a test.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), he claimed, was in trouble. The PML-N would accept the PTI-PML-nominations Q’s for caretaker chief minister of Punjab, he continued. He insisted that he was certain the general election will take place in April.

In his analysis of the local government elections in Sindh, he said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had rigged the vote, which was made worse by the PTI’s weak organisation in Karachi.
