Canada Global (Web News) In a terrible incident involving a suicide assault close to the cavalcade of Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq on Friday in Zhob, one man was murdered and six others were hurt.
Police claim that Mr. Haq was unharmed during the explosion. In Zhob, the JI leader was supposed to give a speech.
According to the sources, Mr Haq arrived at the police queue unharmed and that the JI’s convoy was entering Zhob from Quetta.
Mr. Haq landed in Quetta today, but he still had to go to Zhob to attend his political event. In a video message, JI spokesman Faisal Sharif claimed that while he was entering Zhob and people were embracing him, a guy approached and detonated himself.
Six injured persons were transferred to a hospital, according to sources familiar with the situation, while the attacker’s body was carried to the civil hospital. Among those hurt are two kids.
