Pakistan’Electricity 3 Rupees 7 Paisa Expensive Per Unit

 Canada Global(Web News) National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the price of electricity by 3 rupees 7 paise per unit.

In the notification issued by Nepra, it has been said that the increase in prices has been done in view of monthly fuel adjustment for October. Which will be applicable to all customers while Lifeline and K Electric customers will get exemption.

675 billion has been cheated on the pockets of consumers through over-billing by electricity companies.
In the notification of Nepra, it is said that nine billion and twenty five crore units of electricity were generated in October, which is less than the requirement. The fuel cost adjustment of October has been increased by more than Rs 3 per unit in arrears.
The notification issued by Nepra will be approved by the federal government.
