Canada Global (Web News) While considering the arguments made by PTI MNAs in a session of the National Assembly, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was unable to come to a resolution.
According to sources, it was resolved during the meeting to write to the governors of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and ask them to select the same date for the provinces’ general elections. As lists of returning officers (ROs) and deputy returning officers (DROs) have been sought, the sources continued, “The ECP is prepared to hold elections in the provinces.”
