Civilian Workers Strike At Military Bases In Ontario And Quebec

 Canada Global(Web News) 500 civilian workers at Canadian military bases in Ontario and Quebec have started a strike from today. This strike is being done for increase in allowances and job protection.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Union of National Defense Employees say that their members will go on strike from 6:30 a.m. PSAC national president Chris Aylward said that their members have decided to go on strike. He also said that federal public service workers receive higher allowances than employees of non-publicly funded agencies. Our members have been working without a contract since 2022. These workers provide food, recreation, community and financial planning services to military members and senior service members
