Federal prosecutors in California said on Monday that Jacob committed the crime to increase his social media following and gain financial gain, according to Foreign Broadcasting. The plane crashed on the ground and uploaded the video of the entire dangerous scene on his YouTube channel. The video has been viewed by nearly 3 million people and the number of followers has grown exponentially. The US Federal Aviation Administration has charged YouTuber Jacob with intentionally destroying his plane and increasing the likelihood of a major accident. He was arrested and his license to fly the plane was revoked.
