Canada Global(Web News)An Air Cadet program is starting in West Kelowna and local youth interested in building lifelong skills are welcome to join.
“We will have some of our cadets out and some of our officers out,” said James Murray, captain of the local air cadet squadron.
Part of a nationwide program aimed at educating young people, 909 Peregrine Squadron in West Kelowna offers a variety of activities. “
It’s one of the best youth programs in Canada, and I really think so,” said Squadron Commander Justin Hall. It will build you many skills like self-confidence.
“We do a lot of survival training and that was the biggest thing that kept me going,” Isabella Russo said.
