Sources said that the former aide of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was suffering from breathing problems and cough for the past few days. He has been admitted to Services Hospital in Lahore for treatment.
Shahbaz Gul is on bail from the courts in the treason case. Last September, the Islamabad High Court granted bail to the PTI leader in a case filed against him on charges of sedition and inciting people against state institutions.
The bail was granted weeks after he was arrested for making inflammatory remarks during a private TV channel bulletin on August 9
