Canada Global(Web News)One person was taken to hospital after a fire broke out in a building on Sherburne and Shutter Streets in Toronto on Sunday night.
Toronto Fire responded to the scene around 5:41 a.m. after reports of smoke coming from a nearby building. Police and fire services detected a two-alarm fire here. The fire broke out on the 12th floor and was later brought under control.
The occupant of the building was sitting on the balcony to escape the fire from where he was rescued by TFS personnel and examined on the spot. One person was taken to hospital in critical condition.
