In the last phase of Azad Kashmir municipal elections, PTI got a big lead

Canada Global (Web News) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has won 21 out of 27 seats in Mirpur District Council.

The PTI has won a huge lead over its opponents in the third and final phase of local body elections in three districts of Mirpur division.

District Council Mirpur

According to unofficial unofficial results, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has won 21 out of 27 seats in Mirpur District Council. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz won only three seats and Pakistan Peoples Party only two seats while one seat was won by an independent candidate.

Mirpur Municipal Corporation

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf also won 23 seats in the Mirpur Municipal Corporation elections. PML-N won 13 seats while independent candidates won 9 seats. PPP could win only one seat.

Kotli Municipal Corporation

Elections were also held on 14 municipal corporation seats in Kotli where independent candidates won on six seats. PTI got second with four seats and PML-N got three seats. PPP could win only one seat.

District Council Kotli

In the Kotli district council elections, PTI won 22 seats while Muslim League-N and People’s Party won 13 and 13 seats respectively. Independent candidates also won three seats.

District Council Bhimbar
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf also won 8 seats in District Council Bhimbar. Two seats were won by PML-N while one seat was won by an independent candidate.
