Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained at an all-time high of Rs 1,860 per tola and Rs 1,594.65 per 10 grams.
Although the price of gold in Pakistan is at an all-time high, it is still priced below cost, the association said. Gold in Dubai is cheaper than its price by Rs 3000 per tola.
The updated price for the local markets was determined by taking into account the prices at which the buyers and sellers traded.
It should also be noted that gold demand in Pakistan increased by 34% between July and September 2022 compared to a year ago.
The data showed that gold was bought the most during a quarter in at least three years.
