Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to approach the Peshawar High Court and the Supreme Court against the decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan regarding PTI’s intra-party election.
Barrister Gohar, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said that the decision of the Election Commission is very weak. This is an urgent matter, for which we will go to court. He said that we are saddened by this decision.
He further said that we have instructed our candidates to submit their nomination papers to participate in the general elections.
It should be noted that the specific decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan was announced yesterday, in which it is said that the PTI did not conduct its elections according to the party constitution, the bat sign has been withdrawn from the PTI. . The judgment said that a five-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner heard the petitions filed against the intra-party elections by PTI.
