Canada Global(Web News) Pakistan Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Pakistani High Commission in Ottawa. Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan in Canada Shah Faisal Kakde hoisted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem.
A large number of Pakistanis and Canadians participated in the event.
In his message, Acting High Commissioner Shah Faisal Kakar paid great tribute to the founders of the nation, especially Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal for their vision and tireless struggle for the establishment of Pakistan.
Highlighting the significant progress the country has made over the decades in various fields, the High Commissioner highlighted the determination of Pakistanis to meet the challenges.
He also appreciated the cooperation of active Pakistanis across Canada for playing the role of a bridge between the two countries and promoting Pakistan in their adopted homeland and also prayed for the security of Pakistan
