One Person Is Dead After A Two-Vehicle Crash In Abbotsford

Canada Global(Web News) One person has died as a result of a two-vehicle collision in Abbotsford.

According to Abbotsford Police, two vehicles collided in the 31000 block of Old Yale Road around 12:50 a.m. Saturday.

Police immediately rendered medical aid to an 84-year-old male driver who suffered serious and life-threatening injuries, but the 84-year-old male driver died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken into custody at the scene, Steele said.
Road closures in the immediate area are expected due to the accident for an extended period. Abbotsford police and members of the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) are investigating.
