Canada Global (Web News) According to police, a 32-year-old woman has been charged following a “lengthy” investigation into a crash in Brock Township, Ontario, last summer that killed three people.
On July 1, about 11:20 a.m., Durham Regional Police officers were dispatched to Lakeridge Road, north of Thorah Concession 4, for a two-vehicle collision.
While two victims with critical injuries were transported to a trauma centre in the Toronto region, three people died at the site.
One woman and two males who were in one of the vehicles were among the three fatalities, according to the police.
A woman and a child in the second car were the two injured victims.
Police said in a news release on Monday that Brittany Russell-Rees, 32, of Beaverton, had been charged with three charges of careless driving resulting in death and careless driving resulting in serious harm.
According to the police, she was released with conditions.
