Two Indian air force jets crash, one pilot killed

Canada Global (Web News) One pilot was killed when two fighter jets belonging to the Indian air force fell on Saturday following an accident, the air force reported.

“The planes were engaged in a routine operational training mission.Three pilots were involved, and one of them died as a result of his injuries. A probe has been ordered to determine what caused the accident.” The air force stated in a statement.

It stated that the incident took place close to the town of Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Prior to this, according to officials, one of the aircraft had crashed in Madhya Pradesh and the other in the neighbouring state of Rajasthan.

Media reported that a Sukhoi-30 and a Mirage 2000 were the two types of aircraft involved, however the air force did not specify which ones.
