The organization has called on Israel to immediately open humanitarian entry points into Gaza to provide shelter to the affected people. Citing data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the international organization said that Gazans are facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing Israeli operations. The IOM said in a statement yesterday that families are being forced to take refuge in the rubble due to the lack of safe places. According to the organization, relief supplies and shelter facilities are available, but the closure of entry points is preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The IOM clarified that if the access points are opened, the victims can be provided with the necessary assistance immediately. It should be noted that since March 2, Israel has completely closed the entrances to Gaza, which has not only suspended the supply of relief goods but also increased fears of famine. As a result of the actions of the Zionist forces, most areas of Gaza have become piles of rubble and almost the entire population has been displaced.
This situation continues even as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yuvraj Gallant are on trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of war crimes and genocide. Nevertheless, Israeli aggression shows no letup.
