    In the context of smart lockdown, educational institutions will be closed today and tomorrow in 10 districts of Punjab including Lahore, these districts include Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sialkot Narowal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin. School and Higher Education has issued a holiday notification.

    Markets will open today and tomorrow at three o’clock while business will be completely closed on Sunday, entry of vehicles will be closed on Mall Road in Lahore on Sunday while only cycling will be allowed.

    On the other hand, while expressing concerns over the government’s decision regarding the closure of markets, the traders said that instead of the markets, the government should close the government offices, banks, opening the markets at 3 o’clock will cause a great loss to the business community.

    The business community said that the government should review the decision to open the markets at 3 pm on Friday.

    The city’s smog-emitting vehicles should be routinely inspected by the anti-smog squad. He added that farmers would be given a new harvester called “Hepper Seed” to eliminate crop remnants and that the squad should make sure that cars at the city’s entrances are checked.
