Sirajul Haq reveals he refused Zardari’s request to help him against PTI

Canada Global (Web News) The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq, disclosed on Sunday that he had turned down a plea for assistance from former president and co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, claiming that his party could not join the corrupt system.

Speaking to a crowd on Sunday in Tandlianwala, he promised that, given the chance, the JI will bring the corrupt to justice.

All political parties are frauds, he claimed, as they continue to deceive voters under the pretence of providing them with bread, clothing, and homes (“Roti,” “Kapra,” aur “Makan”), and some parties have abandoned the masses by enacting “Tabdeeli,” but they are now publicly exposed for what they did.

The JI leader added that while the politicians would submit to the United States, his party would return Dr. Aafia back from the US. He further claimed that all political parties had betrayed Pakistan’s ideology.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), according to Sirajul Haq, were unable to bring up the subject of occupied Kashmir with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi even once, but the JI will liberate the valley.

Only Jamaat-e-Islami, he said, can rid Pakistan of corruption. “Every single citizen in Pakistan is currently under the debt of Rs. 270,000, while Rs. 5000 billion are robbed every year in Pakistan,” he stated.

“Pakistan has 80 million acres of land, of which crops are grown on 2.2 million acres, but the politicians have utterly failed to develop the agriculture sector, and only barren land is dispersed to the poor,” he remarked.
