Canada Global (Web News) Fawad Chaudhry, senior vice president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), announced on Saturday that the group would ask Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi to submit a vote of confidence as soon as possible.
The PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) will make sure the vote of confidence is passed as soon as possible, the ex-information minister promised, allowing them to dissolve the legislatures.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had reinstalled Elahi as the chief minister the day before after receiving assurances from the PML-Q leader, a close supporter of Khan, that he would not dissolve the legislature once in power.

“We are sure we control the majority. If Speaker [Sibtain Khan] isn’t counted, we have the backing of 187 legislators. The chief minister has also stated that he is prepared to call for the assembly’s dissolution “added Fawad.
The PTI Chairman Imran Khan called a meeting of the party’s senior leadership today, when it was decided that the vote of confidence will occur as soon as possible, the senior vice president stated.
A PTI delegation will meet with Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi as part of the plan to talk about the choice and set a time for the chief minister to take a vote of confidence.
“Following a vote of confidence in the chief minister, the Punjab Assembly would be dissolved. 177 PTI legislators and 10 PML-Q lawmakers support Elahi “he observed
