PTI activist Khadija Shah surrenders to CIA police

Canada Global (Web News) In a significant step, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Khadija Shah was detained by authorities on Tuesday for her claimed role in the attack on Jinnah House on May 9.

Under the direction of senior superintendent of police for the CIA (Criminal Investigation Agency), Malik Liaquat, the arrest was made today at the CIA office in Iqbal Town. Officially, the arrest was made by DSP CIA (deputy superintendent of police CIA) Muhammad Ali Butt.

Khadija Shah was formally arrested when she arrived at the CIA Iqbal Town premises and was taken into custody by DSP CIA Muhammad Ali Butt. Jahanzeb Shah, Khadija Shah’s husband, was also held by the CIA police in connection with the probe, so it didn’t end there.

Authorities have taken both people into jail and have started a thorough investigation.

Khadija Shah is accused to have participated in the attack on Jinnah House on May 9 during the PTI protests.
