Protests erupt in major cities as PTI workers and police clash over Imran’s arrest

Canada Global (Web News) On Tuesday night, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters thronged the streets of major cities to protest amid fears that former prime leader Imran Khan would be detained.

The PTI workers in Karachi organised demonstrations in a number of locations, including Orangi Town, Hussain Plaza, Sohrab Goth, and Shaheen Complex. The main thoroughfares in the capital of Sindh were closed to traffic as a result of the protests.

To protest the impending arrest of Mr. Khan, PTI employees also descended upon the streets of Multan, Khanpur, Wazirabad, Karak, Rawalpindi and other locations.
