Canada Global (Web News) Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rehman has received three names from Punjab Chief Minister Chauhdry Parvez Elahi for the position of acting provincial governor.
There has been a letter delivered to the Governor House. Nasir Mahmood Khosa, Muhammad Naseer Khan, and Sardar Ahmad Nawaz Sukhaira have all been mentioned as possible candidates for the position of interim chief minister.
Previously, the Punjab governor had requested names from the Punjab chief minister via official correspondence.
The names of Ahmed Nawaz Sukhira, Naseer Ahmed Khan, and Nasir Saeed Khosa were decided upon on Sunday night by PTI chairman Imran Khan and PML-Q president Paervez Elahi for the position of interim chief minister in Punjab.
After visiting PTI chairman Imran Khan in Lahore, he spoke to the media and revealed that three choices had been chosen in consultation for the caretaker chief minister, the first of which is Ahmed Nawaz Sukhira.
He stated that the Governor of Punjab would receive these names and expressed the hope that consensus would be found on one of them.
Chief minister claimed that Moonis Elahi desired a merger between the PML-Q and the PTI.
