Canada Global (Web News) Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, hinted that long-form tweets would be coming to the service shortly.
The Tesla CEO said: “We truly need long-form tweets!” in a Saturday twitter conversation with a platform user who noted Musk’s 67 tweets regarding the alleged “Twitter Files” were “quite the thread.”
“Wave your magic engineering wand, and get er done my internet son!” the user @nichegamer responded. It’s almost ready, Musk said in response.
Since completing his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in October, Musk has aggressively responded to user recommendations for how to make the social media network better.
When sources revealed that Twitter was getting ready to roll out a new feature that would permit the direct publishing of long-form content on its platform, rumours concerning the arrival of long-form content on Twitter first surfaced in June.
Under Musk, Twitter underwent a significant makeover and implemented a number of contentious features that sparked heated discussions across the site and caused some users to stop using it or restrict their usage.
