Child rushed to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Toronto’s west end: police

Canada Global (Web News) According to police, a youngster who was struck by a car in Toronto’s west end early on Monday has been taken to the hospital.

At 8:05 on Monday morning, the collision at Kipling Avenue and Burnhamthorpe Road was reported to Toronto police.

The motorist, according to police, stayed on the scene.

Global News was informed by Toronto paramedics that they transported one patient with critical injuries to a nearby trauma hospital.

Nothing is known about what could have caused the crash.

Following the event, Kipling Avenue in the neighbourhood was shut down in both directions.
