Canada Global (Web News) The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program’s Express Entry-linked stream recently held a new draw, accepting 150 applicants for immigration to Canada.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score needed for the March 30 draw was 372.
A prior draw on March 9 had a minimum score requirement of 301 and welcomed 134 candidates.
Candidates must also have familial ties to Alberta and have shown a desire to settle there permanently. Moreover, they must be employed in a field that supports the diversification and growth of Alberta’s economy.

In 2023, Alberta will receive 9,750 provincial nominations, an increase from 6,500 in 2022.
There are now 450 applications under the Alberta Fast Entry Stream and 1,370 applications under the Alberta Opportunity Stream pending in the province.
Requirements for Alberta Express Entry
-Be a member of the federal Express Entry pool with an active Express Entry profile.
-Have expressed a desire to settle permanently in Alberta.
-Be employed in a profession that promotes the diversification and growth of Alberta’s economy.
-Have at least 300 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System.
-A job offer from an employer in Alberta and/or prior employment there.
-Having obtained a diploma from a postsecondary institution in Canada.
-Having a parent, child, sibling, or other relative who resides in Alberta.
-Aspects that make it less likely for a candidate to receive a notification of interest.-
-The Fast Entry profile will expire in the following three months.
