Canada Global(Web News)A woman was injured and a man was taken into custody in a late-night shooting at a midtown Toronto apartment.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Brownlow Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, east of Mount Pleasant Road, to reports of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. Police said that the bullet hit the apartment on the ninth floor of the building. The injured woman somehow managed to get out of the building and called 911.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where his condition is said to be out of danger. A man was arrested on the spot and a gun was also recovered from him. The case is being investigated.
