
Canada Global (Web News) Former fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Wahab Riaz has been appointed as the chief selector of the selection committee of the national men’s cricket team.
Wahab Riaz’s first assignment is to select the Pakistan team for the 3-Test series in Australia from December 14 to January 7 and the five-match T20I series in New Zealand from January 12 to 21. Started his career in 2008 and took a total of 237 wickets and scored 1200 runs in 27 Tests, 91 ODIs and 36 T20I. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, Wahab Riaz says that it is an honor for him to be the head of the national selection committee. He thanked Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf for trusting him with this responsibility.
