Visa Requirements At Pak-Afghan Border Worry Businessmen

Canada Global(Web News) Businessmen of both countries are worried about the condition of using passports and visas instead of permits for travel between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

According to a report by an American broadcasting organization, the biggest loss from this decision of the government was the small traders of Chaman who do business between the two countries on a daily basis. There are thousands of such traders.

On the other hand, the Government of Pakistan maintains that the purpose of allowing movement through passports and computerized documents at the border is to limit illegal movement.

Sadiq Achakzai, president of Central Association of Traders Chaman, says that crossing the border and identity card are mandatory, it is also their visa and passport.
