Two Women Injured In Indiscriminate Shooting On Highway 6 In Hamilton

 Canada Global(Web News)Two women were injured in an indiscriminate shooting on Highway 6 in Hamilton. The condition of one of them is said to be critical.

Provincial police initially released few details, but Sergeant Kerry Schmidt confirmed the shooting is being investigated by the Burlington OPP. The OPP said the incident occurred just after 5:00 a.m. The highway was initially closed between Concession 5 and Milgrove Side Road on Sunday morning but was later reopened.
The case is being investigated by the Highway Safety Division Crime Unit and the OPP’s Forensic Identification Services under the guidelines of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. A black Honda sedan with a green tarpaulin was parked on the side of the road all day.

Hamilton paramedics said they transported two women, both in their 20s, to a local trauma center.
