Authorities have not yet determined whether the deceased were passengers on the plane or employees inside the building at the time of the crash, a police spokesperson told KTLA.

Footage from the scene showed a large hole in the building’s roof, with smoke rising from the area.

Jerome Cruz, a worker who witnessed the crash, recounted to CBS News: “We heard a loud boom, and then we started running out of the building.”
