Balochistan caretaker information minister John Achakzai has confirmed that the border crossing is open for refugees returning to Afghanistan.
He said that according to the security personnel posted at the border, the trucks carrying goods going to Afghanistan are using other routes to get there.

John Achakzai said that the government is engaged in solving the problem through discussions with the leaders of the All Parties Traders Alliance, the provincial government has assured him that the government will provide alternative employment to those involved in illegal cross-border trade
