Tosha Khana case: Nawaz Sharif presented in accountability court, bail granted, status of ad is over

 Canada Global(Web News)The Accountability Court approved the bail of Muslim League (N) leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Tosha Khana case, while the status of the accused was terminated.

 Tosha Khana case against Nawaz Sharif was heard by Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appeared before the court, Nawaz Sharif was accompanied by Ahsan Iqbal, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary and other PML-N leaders and a team of lawyers.

 PML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhary was appointed as Nawaz Sharif’s surety in the court.

During the hearing, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer tried to give political arguments, on which the accountability court judge stopped lawyer Qazi Misbah from giving political arguments.

The court approved Nawaz Sharif’s bail in the Tosha Khana case and ordered him to deposit a bond of 10 lakhs.

Later, the accountability court adjourned the hearing of the Tosha Khana reference case till November 20. Copies will be distributed at the next hearing.

Apart from this, the court issued a notice to NAB on the request for confiscation of property and called for arguments on November 20.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer appeared in the court, who requested to hear the remaining routine cases, to give us time. 


Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer has filed 3 applications in the court, in which Nawaz Sharif’s annexed property in the Tosha Khana reference, to be released, to appoint a pleader and to submit bail bonds in the court. Applications were included.

On the other hand, on the occasion of Nawaz Sharif’s appearance, strict security arrangements were made outside the accountability court, only relevant lawyers and journalists were allowed to enter the accountability court.

It should be noted that in the previous hearing, the accountability court had suspended Nawaz Sharif’s permanent warrant till October 24.
