it looks like the traditional Canadian Halloween with coats covering costumes won’t be happening this year as it’s set to stay warm on Thursday.
Meteorologist Natasha Ramshai said: “It’s likely we’ll break another record tomorrow for the warmest Halloween on record, but there’s still a chance of light rain.”
“We may be seeing some rain in some areas moving into the trickle-or-treating time,” Ramshai said. At 3 pm we can see a couple of scattered showers. But at 6 p.m., so if you’re an early trick-or-treater, most areas will be dry.
Several temperature records have been broken this year. Gaya, which broke the February 9 record of 10.6 degrees Celsius set in 1938.
And a month later, the previous record of 13.3 degrees Celsius, set on March 4, 1974, was broken.
