Today Is The Last Day To Submit Nomination Papers For The Election

Canada Global(Web News)Political upheaval continues across the country, today is the last day to submit nomination papers for the general election 2024.

The 2-day extension by ECP will end today, the process of submitting nomination papers in all four provinces will be completed today.
It should be noted that the Election Commission had extended the date of submission of nomination papers by 2 days according to the revised schedule of the Election Commission.
According to the ECP, appeals against the decisions of the Returning Officer will be filed by January 3. According to the polling schedule, the election will be held on February 8, 2024.

On the other hand, the process of submission of nomination papers by the political leaders participating in the general elections is going on.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto will contest from NA 128 Lahore, Nawaz Sharif will contest from NA 15 Mansehra, Imran Khan has submitted his papers from Mianwali seat NA 89
. After submitting papers from 132, Maryam Nawaz will contest from NA-119 and NA-120 Lahore.

Sanam Javed will contest against Maryam Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif.
Fawad Chaudhary’s wife Haba Fawad Chaudhary has emerged as an independent candidate from NA-61 Jhelum constituency, while Muslim League-Q’s Chaudhry Salik Hussain has submitted papers from NA-64.
Asif Zardari will contest from NA 207 Nawabshah, Parvaiz Khattak has submitted his papers from NA 33 Nowshera and 2 provincial seats, Sirajul Haq will try his luck from NA 7 Lower.
Mustafa Kamal has submitted papers from NA 242 and NA 247 Karachi, Imran Khan has also submitted nomination papers from NA 122 Constituency of Lahore, Attaullah Tarar has submitted nomination papers for PP 35.
It should be noted that during the last four days, many political leaders have received and submitted their nomination papers.
