Canada Global(Web News)Yesterday, thousands of people gathered in the center of Toronto to protest in favor of Palestine. The protest was organized by the pro-Palestine group Toronto for Palestine and started in Nathan Phillip Square.
During these protests, people also took out rallies in cars. The rally left Scarborough town center at 12:45pm. The rally headed west along Highway 401, then turned south onto Don Valley Parkway and back to the square. Here, everyone together demanded to stop the ongoing violence on the Gaza Strip. Everyone said that enough is enough and a cease-fire should be called.

The rally was held as Israel launched the second level of war against Hamas. This battle has reached its third week. Israel has also sent ground forces into Gaza and now Israel is conducting land, air and sea attacks on Gaza. Thousands of people have been killed in this war that started on October 7. The rally and the protestors said that we have come here with a demand to restore peace.
