The World’s First ‘Flying Electric Plane’

Canada Global (Web News) The world’s first ‘flying electric plane’ has completed testing and is expected to be introduced next year.

This electric flying passenger ship has been developed by Candela Technology AB, a Swedish company. Its name is Candela P12, which is 12 meters high. It can carry 30 passengers at a time. According to the company, Candela P12 has a range of 29 miles per hour. The company added that the ride will change the way water travel is done. The craft uses a hydrofoil to lift its bottom part above the surface of the water. Reduce friction and allow the ship to travel at higher speeds than conventional boats.

According to the company, it uses two engines powered by a 252-kilowatt battery, while its digital flight control system adjusts the hydrofoils based on waves, wind and currents in the water. That from 2024 an electric ride will run between the two Swedish cities, covering a 55-minute journey in 25 minutes.
