The Us Vetoed The Aid Resolution In Gaza

Canada Global(Web News)The United States vetoed the resolution to stop the Gaza conflict and provide humanitarian aid at the UN Security Council meeting.

 

After Israel’s attack on the hospital in Azza, an important meeting of the United Nations Security Council was held in Geneva, in which Brazil presented a resolution to end the conflict to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Voting on a written draft submitted by Brazil was delayed twice when 12 members voted in favour, Russia and Britain abstained and the US exercised its discretionary right to veto the resolution.

Earlier, an important meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held at the invitation of Saudi Arabia, in which Israel’s aggression on Gaza was discussed.

The meeting strongly condemned Israel’s bombing of a hospital in Gaza, calling it organized state terrorism and a war crime, and demanded that those involved in war crimes be punished.

It should be noted that a day ago the Israeli army fired a rocket at a hospital in Gaza, as a result of which at least 500 people were martyred.

The number of Palestinians martyred in the last 10 days of fighting has exceeded 3500, while thousands are injured.
