Canada Global(Web News)A Peel police officer was injured after being hit by a vehicle while investigating a car accident in Brampton. He was taken to a hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.
The accident happened on Changoxi Road south of Boward Drive West around 8:15 p.m. Police said an officer was investigating a separate accident in the southbound lanes when he was hit by a passing vehicle. The policeman was injured on the head while the driver of the vehicle was not injured. The police officer is likely to be hospitalized for a few days.
No charges have been filed against anyone in this regard so far. The case is being investigated.
