Canada Global(Web News)The Indonesian plane is waiting for repair in Karachi for two and a half months, the plane in the PIA engineering hangar is still waiting for the arrival of the engine from abroad to fly.

Garuda Indonesia International Airlines ATR 600-72 aircraft arrived in Karachi on July 26, the aircraft with registration number PKGAD landed in Karachi for refueling.

There was a technical problem in the engine of the plane before take-off to go to the United Arab Emirates. The plane took a test flight from Karachi Airport on August 19 at 10:25 a.m. After the 21-minute test flight, the engine failed. Due to the malfunction, the plane had landed back in Karachi.

The crew members of the 9-year-old plane left Karachi and left for Indonesia. The plane, which was on the Karachi airport runway for 50 days, was shifted to the PIA hangar on the request of the concerned airline.

According to PIA sources, the left engine of the aircraft is unrepairable, the aircraft will be able to fly only after the arrival and installation of the replacement engine from the concerned company.
