The Head Of The National Microbiology Lab In Winnipeg Has Resigned

 Canada Global (Web News) The head of the National Microbiology Lab (NML) in Winnipeg has said he is stepping down to continue his clinical work and take up a position at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Policon announced his resignation in an email Tuesday, according to CBC News.

Poliquin wrote that this decision was not taken lightly, requiring a great deal of introspection.From 2020 Dr. Guillaume Poliquin oversees Canada’s only Level 4 virology facility, dedicated to combating the most serious and devastating human and animal diseases.

Indeed, being asked to do this during a pandemic is the greatest honor of my career and I hope that I have achieved some degree of success with this work, always realizing the need to work hard and improve.

Policon is an infectious disease pediatrician who has researched several vaccines, including one to prevent pneumonia, blood poisoning and meningitis in children.
