In the past few days, PCB had sent two proposed schedules of PSL 9 to the franchises, one of which held matches only in Karachi and Lahore, while the other included Multan and Rawalpindi as well. Sources said. It is said that the board officials have decided to hold the league in 4 cities, it is proposed to start it on February 18 in Lahore, but some franchisees say that it will not be appropriate to do so due to the cold weather and fog these days.

Questions have also been raised on the proposed final in Karachi on March 19. Teams are worried that fewer crowds will come, which will affect ticket revenue. Sources further say that Zalmi continues to insist on holding the matches in Peshawar, the construction work in the stadium was also claimed to be completed in 2 months but PCB has not taken any decision to include Peshawar as host. 2 double headers during Ramadan in March are also part of the schedule, objections were also raised.

The said matches are being asked to be moved initially, PCB will release the schedule on the occasion of the draft on December 13. It should be remembered that due to the general elections in the country, there was a proposal to move the PSL to UAE, but now it has been decided to hold the matches in Pakistan.
