Sources say that if Babar Azam resigns from the captaincy, the board will accept it. As another option, the board has decided to remove Babar Azam from the captaincy.
According to sources, Shan Masood is a strong candidate to be the Test captain in Australia tour, while Shaheen Afridi is a strong candidate for T20 leadership in New Zealand tour.
